The aim of the literature review was to investigate how relatives to a person suffering from dementia, in institution, experienced the nursing hom staff and the relation to them. The study was based on eight scientific articles. The result gave thirteen themes, that showed that relatives experienced the nursing home staff having a hard work under pressure. They were nice but without knowledge. The relatives experienced that the nursing home staff didn´t see or hear them and gave no confidence.

The method of this study was a literature review. The result showed that norms and rules not always are adjusted to caretakers? wishes and needs.

The study aims to examine the communication between older immigrants and nurses at several nursing homes.Emphasis has been placed on clarifying both parties? experience of communication regarding the older immigrant?s idiomatic difficulties. The following questions were used in the creation of the study: How does the older immigrant communicate with the personnel at a nursing home? How does the older immigrant enjoy their residence at the nursing home? How do language difficulties influence the older immigrant?s possibility to express their self?In the study eight qualitative interviews were made with four older immigrants who lives in nursing homes and four nurses working in a nursing home. The survey shows that the overall problem in the communication is the older immigrant?s lack of language.

AIM: The aim of this study was to understand the nursing staffs understanding about the study circle as a resource for their work with analgesia among elderly after participating in the same. METHOD: A qualitative approach was used and collecting data was done by a semi-structured focus group interview and two individual semi-structured interviews. The data was analysed by content analyses.

Intensivv?rdssjuksk?terskan har en central roll vid katastrofer f?r att uppr?tth?lla patients?kerheten, vilket belyser det ?kade behovet av intensivv?rdssjuksk?terskans kompetens samt behovet av ny kunskap kring omv?rdnad vid katastrofer, resiliens och katastrofberedskap. Syfte: Att identifiera faktorer av betydelse f?r intensivv?rdssjuksk?terskans yrkesut?vande i katastrof. Metod: Systematisk litteratur?versikt med induktiv ansats samt tematisk analys av data.
